Roger Dumont, Product Architect at Socomec, spent a few days in the boatyard to check the installation of the ballast system. As a major partner of Med Racing, Socomec is involved in the construction of the new Class40 Imagin’Act-Socomec which skipper Marco Guerra is building with his company Global Service Yacht. The ballast system was designed and built by Roger Dumont who also benefited from the collaboration of students from INSA Strasbourg.
“Every component of this system has been studied, designed and manufactured by us and for this boat, which will be the first to be equipped with it. This product is unique and does not exist on the market”, explains Roger Dumont.
